HaMotzi Gluten Free is a minority woman-owned weekly, gluten-free challah delivery service. We bake and deliver challah suitable for saying hamotzi for Shabbat every Friday Morning. We use only non-GMO ingredients and bake in Kehilla Community Synagogue’s kitchen. All ingredients are dairy-free and certified gluten-free; many are organic.
HaMotzi Gluten Free takes orders online from Friday until Thursday noon every week. Thursday overnight we bake orders. Friday afternoon we deliver the freshly baked loaves; making sure that you have fresh challah well before Shabbat starts.
Our mission is to bake gluten-free challah that rivals glutenous loaves and to inspire Shabbat practice by delivering delicious, hamotzi-worthy challah to your door.
Lia can remember opening her school lunches stuffed with sandwiches made on homemade, soft, sweet bread and the smell of fresh loaves welcoming her home long before she opened the door every Friday. She began baking with her mother at 10 years old. About 10 years ago, Lia began providing kiddush for as many Shabbat mornings as possible at her shul. She received rave reviews for her amazing, gluten-free challah and treats. She opened HaMotzi Gluten Free during COVID-19 as a way to stay connected to her beloved community and provide them with a way to say hamotzi over their favorite gluten-free challah. Lia shares a bit of her love for baking and Shabbat with every customer she serve

Dawn is joining HaMotzi Gluten Free to manage the customer experience. She is a customer service guru with over 15 years of experience. Dawn delights in making sure everyone at the table is fed. She takes food allergies very seriously and is excited to support HMGF in its mission to deliver gluten-free challah for Shabbat and to be your first point of contact. Dawn loves to bake with her eight-year-old son, travel, and host parties for friends and family.
